It's about a young vampire girl/woman who has fallen in love with a human and is nurturing a sweet relationship with him rather than being vampirish.
I really liked Millenium Snow/ Thousand Years of Snow though. It would be nice if the mangaka renewed their interest in it and finished it for me :P

i've heard of Blood Alone and i've got a friend who introdueced me to the manga but i havent gotten around to reading it yet. I know what its about and i've read the 1st chapter it looks promissing and i'm looking forword to reading it.
I've just found a new vampire manga called 'Vampire', very original of the mangaka wasnt it?? NOT! Anyway i've read the 1st chapter and i think its a keeper...its interesting and the style is pleasent to follow...i'm looking forward to seeing how the story turns out, though its not about love as far as i can tell, it seems to be set with a deeper plot, sort of like in 'vampire Girl'...Lets wait and see...
I'll have to look up the mangaka cause i cant remember His/Her name, so i'll get back to you!

I've been planning on watching Hellsing but I wasn't sure if I'd like it, now I think I'm going to give it another chance :) I think I also want to try Blood Alone and Vampire Crisis.
Any recommendations? Which do you think has nice art and drawings? :) I love the ones with nice art, but it also has to have a good plot haha. I'm so pick :| jeez, but I'd like to be a bit more open. I can get used to art I don't like as much xD!

Unfortunatly I do not like the manga version of Hideyuki Kikuchi novels. However, the artist was recommededed by Kikuchi, so I still do buy them to support the title more than anything.
others, that I don't think were mentioned before:
Cirque Du Freak
(American story teller, but so far has been interesting)
Vassalord
(I can't quite get a feel if this is going to be any good; main vampire seems to have a perverted lust for a android like vampire mix of some sort?)
Red Angel
(short 2 volume series, with a slight twist to the usual vampire stories. But I liked it.)
Lament of the Lamb
(longer tale, involving brother & sister. Seemed to be a bittersweet story, involving the daughter who was hidden away & son who got to pretend to be normal for a while. But the pacing was a little too slow for me)
Dance in the Vampire Bund
Rebirth
(both of the above titles are more about fighting, then romance, but I've enjoyed the stories anyway)
Vampire Doll
(I don't remember now what this one was about)
Black Blood Brothers,
(prefered the anime, but it ends right as the story line gets interesting.)
Blood Suckers
(violent like hellsing, but sadly in a state of limbo by the US publisher. ;p)

However, a 4 episode ova does look like it was released:

But I don't know if anyone has fan subbed it or not.
It's really light in "vampirism" .. More like a blood disease. ;)
Most of the ones I've listed are Manga's first.
-Vampire Hunter D started out as novels and black blood brothers was a short anime series first
I don't know of any other novels, other than the two that came out with Vampire Knight.
Take that back, I've been reading Demon Princess, which is also by Hideyuki Kikuchi, & this is going to be a four part novel series? Demon Princess is set in the same world as Demon City Shinjiku (but 20 years later)
And the four bad guys in this series are four 4,000 year old chinese vampires. Hideyuki loves sex & violence so this won't be a story for the squemish or romantic. :D But he also seems to like making his star characters mega pretty boys, so that may attract some fans.
My favorite character from demon city, is the only recurring one in these novels:

He is now known as Doctor Mephisto.__
I've just been checking out a new Korean web comic: Nobelesse. This is starting to become a favorite of mine.
It's a "young" 820 year old vampire. He is still young, because he has been sleeping all of this time. LOL

Since I read so little, the only vampire manga I've read so far besides VK are... Millenium Snow (A very sweet and simple story, random read from my sister's stash!), Vassalord (I read it because I'm curious, some people made interesting icons of the manga and I'm like, O///O and decided to sneak a look. So far... I have no idea what the story is actually about but it's okay, I guess!) and... RustBlaster (Toboso Yana's early work and she definitely improved her art in Kuroshitsuji although her art is beautiful even then. The story... interesting concept and pleasant enough for a one volume series).
Although my two cents, there's too much vampires stories out there and it's kind of... boring, to me at least.

Yeah, i've heard of and started reading Nobelesse, the thing i dont really like about it, is that it takes like forever to get anywhere....plus there are like what...3 images to a page??
@ atemu_mana
I So agree with you that there are too many supernatural/vampire manga going around and that many are boring, those mostly being the ones which have stolen plots, ONE really has to go through a load of junk to get to even one remoatly good one!!
What do you look for in a manga? maybe i know one which is good and happens to be with vampires....vampires are just a different kind of character...look at it that way...
